Originally from India, currently living in Hungary, Sukanto Debnath is an illustrator and character designer. Studied Fine Arts at Viswabharati University, Santiniketan, India. He has been working in the field of animation since year 2000. Worked as an animator, animation director, storyboard artist and creative director in several national and international shows while in India. Freelancing since 2014 mainly as an illustrator and character designer. For clients such as Adobe, Coca-Cola, Disney, Facebook, Google, Electric Theatre TV, HouseSpecial, Hornet, Nexus Studios, Penguin Random House, Sony Pictures Television and more.
Inspired by Hungarian landscapes, Sukanto Debnath has created a series of beautiful illustrations that are rich in detail while offering a minimalist appearance. All artworks have been created in simple black and white allowing the viewer to fill them in with their own imagination.
